                       Lisa M. Gonzales                                
 

Lisa M. Gonzales is a member of the Firm's Litigation Section.  She was educated at Incarnate Word College (BA, 1994) and St. Mary's University School of Law (JD, 2000).  Ms. Gonzales was admitted to the Texas bar in 2000 and is licensed to practice before the United States District Courts for the Western District of Texas.

Ms. Gonzales is a member of the San Antonio Bar Association, the San Antonio Young Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the Mexican American Bar Association, and the State Bar of Texas Litigation Section.  She is also on the Board of Management for the D.R. Semmes YMCA. 

Ms. Gonzales’ primary practice area is general civil litigation with a focus on personal injury defense and commercial litigation.  She has represented numerous clients in litigation involving the defense of commercial motor carriers and personal auto claims.  She has also handled litigation matters for insurance clients including suits involving premises liability, negligence, and the Texas Tort Claims Act.  In addition, she has also represented small business owners in a variety of commercial litigation matters.

Ms. Gonzales currently serves as the Municipal Court Prosecutor for the City of Hondo, the City of Helotes, the City of Pearsall, the City of Poteet and the City of Sabinal. 

Ms. Gonzales has represented homeowners’ associations in general legal matters, assessment collection, and covenant enforcement actions.

Prior to joining the firm, her practice areas included family law, criminal defense, and general civil litigation.
